Electric cars
Customers can search for charging stations on the vehicle's central control screen (MHU), VinFast application and VinFast Website - https://vinfastauto.com.
- On the MHU screen on the vehicle:
+ Step 1: Touch "Search".
+ Step 2: Click to select the charging station POI.
+ Step 3: The list of charging stations is displayed, click to select the appropriate station.
+ Step 4: Information and locations of available VinFast charging stations appear.
+ Step 5: Click to display routes.
+ Step 6: Touch to navigate and move according to the instructions.
- On the VinFast application
+ Step 1: Log in to the VinFast application, click on the "Map" icon.
+ Step 2: Select the "Charging station" icon, the application will list available stations close to the customer's vehicle.
+ Step 3: Customers choose the charging station with the closest and most suitable space.
+ Step 4: Customers click to select the charging station to see information about the number of charging stations, free or paid parking information, distance, access time and use the directions feature if needed.
- On the Website - https://vinfastauto.com.
+ Step 1: Access the VinFast Website and select the 3-striped bar icon on the right side of the screen.
+ Step 2: Click "Find Showroom & Charging Station".
+ Step 3: Select the type of "Electric car charging station", then select the area of the Province/City and District/County that the Customer wants to search.
+ Step 4: Select the charging station the Customer wants to go to and click the "Directions" icon to lead the way to the station."
- Green LED: Charger is available, ready to charge.
- Blue LED: Charger is in use.
- Red LED or no light: Charger is not available.
Customers can pay for electric car charging bills in the following ways:
1. Pay directly at VinFast Service Points using payment methods accepted by the service points.
2. Pay online via the VinFast app. Steps to pay for charging fees online via the VinFast app are as follows:
Step 1: Log in to the app, select the “VinFast ID” icon in the top left corner.
Step 2: Select “List of bills”.
Step 3: Select “Unpaid bills” then select “Pay all”.
Step 4: Select a payment account, then click “Confirm”.
Step 5: Enter the password of the VinFast app.
Step 6: Enter the corresponding OTP/security code of the Bank.
Step 7: Receive a notification message after successful payment.
Electric vehicles
Customers can pay for eScooter charging bills in the following ways:
1. Pay directly at Service Points using payment methods accepted by the service point.
2. Pay online via the VinFast E-Scooter application
To pay for battery charging costs at the charging station, Customers need to add a payment account to the VinFast E-Scooter application following these steps:
Step 1: Customers go to Payment on the VinFast E-Scooter application interface. Next, Customers select "Add payment method".
Step 2: Depending on their needs, Customers can choose the following payment methods:
+ Via bank ATM card.
+ Via credit card.
+ Or via both types of cards (ATM card or credit card).
Step 3: Customers add information about payment method:
+ With ATM card: Customers enter card number information and add related information according to the instruction form, authenticate via OTP code to pair the card with the Application.
+ With international payment card (JCB, Visa, Master): Customers enter card number information, fill in additional information according to the form, authenticate via OTP code to pair the card with the Application.
How to charge an eScooter at a charging station is as follows:
Step 1: Move to an empty and available charging port (the charging port indicator light is green).
Step 2: Turn off the engine, open the trunk to get the vehicle charger, connect the charger to the vehicle and plug the charger into the empty socket on the charging post.
Step 3: Log in to the VinFast E-Scooter App, go to Service, select Scan QR Code, scan the QR code on the charging post, select the corresponding charging port, confirm to start the charging process. Customers note that the vehicle will only start charging when the status light on the charging port turns red.
+ Step 3.1: The available ports will appear on the App, the Customer selects the corresponding charging port that has the charger plugged in (see in step 1).
+ Step 3.2: Select the corresponding charging port on the App corresponding to the port where the charger is plugged in. Click Agree in the right corner of the screen, the charging process begins.
Step 4: On the screen, information will be displayed such as: Charging time, power consumption, estimated amount. If the Customer wants to end the charging session, press the Stop charging button.
Step 5: The Customer checks and reviews information related to the charging session on the VinFast E-Scooter application, including:
❖ Total charging time.
❖ Power consumption level.
❖ Price.
Step 6: After charging is complete or the Customer stops charging, the indicator light at the charging port turns green. The Customer unplugs the charger from the charging post socket, puts the charger in the trunk, moves the vehicle away from the charging location, and finishes charging the electric motorbike battery at the V-Green charging station.
To increase the fun experience and optimize the usage time, users need to pay attention while charging the battery at the Charging Station, including the following:
Use the function to find the nearest charging station on the VinFast E-Scooter Application.
When starting to charge the battery, it is necessary to plug it in firmly to avoid the situation of unstable and intermittent power.
When unplugging the charger, users should turn off the vehicle, unplug the power cord and then go to the charging port. In particular, wait at least 30 seconds before turning on the ignition to use.
In case of sudden unplugging, users need to wait at least 10 seconds if charging on the vehicle and 1 minute if charging directly, then plug the charger back in.
In case of unstable connection, users should unplug the charger and plug it back in.
Currently, the battery charging service at the V-Green charging station system only applies to customers using VinFast electric vehicles.
Therefore, drivers of electric vehicles of other brands will not be able to use the charging service at V-Green stations.
Charging fee is calculated based on the actual electricity level that you have used.
Charging price: 3.858 VND/kWh applied from March 19th 2024.
Note:
Overtime charging fees do not apply to e-scooter.
