V-GREEN Global Charging Station Development Joint Stock Company and ChargePoint Investment Joint Stock Company have signed a strategic cooperation agreement worth VND 150 billion to distribute electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment in the southern provinces and cities of Vietnam.
Under the agreement, ChargePoint will become the official distributor of V-GREEN’s EV charging equipment, including AC and DC charging stations with a power range from 7.4 kW to 150 kW, across the country, with a focus on the southern market. ChargePoint will also invest in the deployment of large-scale franchised charging stations to serve VinFast EV owners.
Depending on actual conditions, the charging stations implemented by ChargePoint will integrate various amenities to serve EV owners while waiting for their vehicles to charge. These amenities include coffee shops, rest areas, car rental services, car wash services, and more, enhancing convenience and improving the experience for VinFast EV users.
ChargePoint’s charging stations will not only be strategically located in shopping malls, residential areas, and public parking lots but also along highways and national roads, catering to the charging needs of VinFast EV owners.
